Let's Go!

I challenged myself to use this particular paper which I thought would be difficult to use but in the end this layout came together really quickly.

I used the Crate Paper Open Road Collection for another layout about our Oregon trip.  I don't get a lot of photos with my husband Mike so I asked my son to snap a few of us on this trip.

I tried to keep the cluster in the same blue green tones as the background paper was pretty busy.

I am still in love with those chipboard frames I hope they don't stop making them.

Thanks for stopping by.

Alison's Comics

My boys went through the drawing comic books phase.  They both made them for months and months and I loved seeing their drawing improve and their stories come to life.

Our friends daughter has started making comics so we got her a special pencil set and I altered the cover of a drawing paper book for her.

I used the Heidi Swapp collection which is so bright and fun.

Thanks for stopping by.

Scrapbook Nerd Online Crop Challenge

I am sharing my layout from last months online crop at Scrapbook Nerd.

We don't get a lot of snow where we live so when we do we have to take full advantage.  Usually there is not enough to make a big snowman so we usually just make a small one.

I used up some older papers and created this fun border along the top and added some chipboard and die cut snowflakes.

I hope you head on over to Scrapbook Nerd and join us for a fun weekend of challenges, games and prizes!

Thanks for stopping by.

2014 PL

I never did make it through all of 2014 with Project Life but I did make it all the way to November.  Here are a few of my final pages.  I ended up using the 2x2 Simple Stories pages and just getting it done.  I managed to finish September and October pretty quickly.

My hubby's birthday and he got to meet one of his favorite musicians Midge Ure.

I got a new Iphone 6 Gold.  I love it :)

Starting school and heading into rainy days.  My hubby also met Kevin from Kids in the Hall.

Trumpet at Band for linden, Canucks game with Rhys, my Mom's birthday and my silly cat cleaning Linden.

Thanksgiving, Facetime with Dad while he travels and musicals.

Soccer started again, and fall traditions.

Halloween and baking pumpkin loaf.

I think I will try and get November done so I can say I completed a whole year. December will be done as I always do a December Daily album.

Thanks for stopping by.
