PL/265 Catching Up

I am getting caught up with my PL/365 - I used the Scrapbook Nerd April kit for these pages.

Found the best shirt for Rhys, the kids in school call him Einstein so I had to but it lol.

Fun at Menchies,  Buttons got her cone of shame off finally and she cleaned all day and some of Linden's drawings.

The cake batter frozen yogurt at Menchies is so good.

My oldest hates getting his picture taken so never smiles :(

At least he came and got the photo taken anyway.

All the blossoms are on the tree and it was a fun Online Crop weekend at Scrapbook Nerd.

I mixed in some Maggie Holmes with the October Afternoon for this layout.

Playing games with friends, movie marathons and a cute bird to finish up Spring Break.

Love the metal arrow paper clips.

Thanks for stopping by.

Quick Cards

I loved the Paper Bakery Mood Board they posted - the colors are so pretty and I loved the diamond shape layout as well.

Here's what it inspired me to create:

I used my Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Square 25 to punch out the squares from the Dear Lizzy Daydreamer collection.

I finished it off with the smile sentiment and one of the beautiful buttons and some sequins.

Thanks for stopping by.

15 years ago today...

I can't believe my first born turns 15 today!!  Where has the time gone?  It seems like yesterday he came into our lives and I have loved every minute of it!

He is a pretty amazing kid, wicked smart and so funny!

Love you Rhys, have a wonderful day!

Color Challenge

This week over at the Epiphany Crafts blog we have a color challenge going on.  I love color challenges they always make me step away from the colors I generally choose and use colors that I normally wouldn't.  Here is the inspiration for the color challenge:

I used the Dear Lizzy Daydreamer collection which had all the colors from the inspiration piece.

Along with those adorable puffy heart stickers (which I am going to hoard lol) I added some coordinating hearts using the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Heart 25.

I used photos from our last trip to Savary Island.  This lovely deer came and said hi every day usually in the evening.  The kids loved seeing them come by.

My friend Jeannine is an amazing friend and I am so blessed to have her in my life!

She really does make me happy :)

The neighbours blow a conch every day at 5pm and you can go over for tea.  We joined them one day and had tea and cookies.

Building the giant sandcastle is always one of the best days, a lot of work but so worth it!

I spent the day with Sophia and Linden making beach crafts including reed bracelets. It was nice to have some girly time while I was there.

My oldest loves when we go out on the boat especially when Craig guns it.

This year a marine biologist came and gave a talk about Savary Island and all the amazing sea creatures.  It was pretty cool.

The younger kids loved collecting baby crabs and even made them a hotel/spa.

Family time is the best thing about Savary - getting away from electronics and just hanging out with family and friends.

Combing for beach glass is always on our list to to do while we are there and I was so luck to find this beauty.  My favorite color.
