Summer Days

I love using the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tools to make perfect coordinating embellishments every time! For this layout I created a fun scallop background for the lower half of the page. I used the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Scallop 25 and punched it from several different coordinating papers and just layered it on until it filled up the lower third of my page.

Once I added my photo and title I filled in the right side of the page with more of the scallop punches and for the main embellishment, the pin wheel, I stamped some hearts on the patterned paper before I punched it and added the coordinating bubble cap to finish it off.

If you are looking for an easy way to add some perfectly coordinating embellishments to your pages this is it!

Let It Snow

We don't get much snow here so when it does snow I love just walking around in my boots and enjoying how pretty it looks.

I made this layout using the Bundled Up collection from Crate Paper - one of my favorites if you don't know that all ready lol.

I love all the embellishments that they have, I made a few little clusters with chipboard, die cuts and brads :)

Do you love the snow?

Disney Dreaming

I Heart Disneyland!  I decided I wanted to make a few framed photos for my studio of Disneyland for my Studio since it's my happy place!

Here's the first one.  I used the Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party die cuts and stickers and some cheap Ikea frames.

Just looking at this picture make me happy :)

Hello!

My sister-in-law is having another baby in the next few weeks and I wanted to make her a special mini album.

I made a 6x6 size album and added a frame with the cute Hello chipboard to the front cover.

I also added some coordinating ribbon and banners.

The inside pages are embellished simply to leave room from the photos.

I used frames through out this album to ground embellishments.

It's her second baby so there is a special place for a photo of him and his older brother.

It's our birthday!

On my birthday 11 years ago I got the best present ever...my son Linden.

He came in kicking and screaming and hasn't stopped, he is my love and joy, my heart and soul and everything in between. Happy 11th Birthday Linden!

Family

Today is the reveal for my Scrapbook Nerd February Projects.  This month I used the fabulous Close Knit collection by Crate Paper.

I love the chipboard that Crate paper always includes in their collections and I challenged myself to use it on a layout.

I managed to use quite a bit of it.  I used the banner shapes to create a border along the top and used the "family" word along the top of the photo.

I also used several of the chipboard shapes interspersed throughout the cut up embroidery hoops at the bottom of the layout.

To finish off the layout I added some gold mist.  I love how it looks on the dark wood paper.

You and Me

Happy Valentines Day!

I made a fun little mini album for my hubby filled with photos of us and the kids.  I used the cute Crate Paper Love Notes collection.

For the cover I used some chipboard frames and embellies along with one of my favorite photos of the two of us.

Inside each page has a theme - the first one is about me and him.  We've been together for 28 years which is crazy lol.

The second page is about him and the kids, he is a wonderful dad!

The third page is all about him, his likes, his job etc.

And the last page was just for fun :)

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
